I am Johnny Horton the world renowned master craftsman of skilled and stimulating conversation. I was born right here in the small community of Mountain View in the Chesnee area. I really enjoy the barbering trade, because of the many different people I come in contact with and learn so much about them and their lives.

My name is Bridget Roach and I live in Chesnee SC. I am a graduate from Chesnee HIgh School. I have one daughter, Lexie who is 14. I completed the Paralegal program at Converse College and worked as a paralegal prior to my barber career. My interest are cooking, outdoor activities, listining to music and spending time with family and friends. I have been cutting hair for (2) years.

Well let’s call me what I am, a “military brat”, (sweet, of course) born to my wonderful parents in 1971 while my dad was in the Air Force moving from place to place. When a client comes into the shop they will experience not only a unique barber shop...

Often when someone walks into a barber shop for the first time they can feel a little apprehensive. It is our desire at The Barber Shop of Boiling Springs to eliminate these feelings by providing the highest quality haircuts and enjoyable, comfortable experiences for our customers.

When someone sits in my chair they often ask about me and how I came to be a barber. Here is the “in a nutshell” history of Renee:

Gordon DeFreest was born on November 25, 1974 and was raised in Barnwell, SC where he still lives. He graduated from Barnwell High School in 1993. He married his wife, Heather in 1998 and they have a beautiful three year old daughter Kayden .
